About

clickworthy stories.

I am an interactive designer and multimedia producer in my second year of training at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.

Outside of class, I work as a paid multimedia editor for Oakland North, a hyperlocal web site produced by my school.

Last summer, I worked as a Bloomberg fellow in the Carnegie-Knight News21 program, which pays students to push the boundaries of interactive journalism.

Before all of this, I was a copyeditor and features writer at the Chicago Reader, a large and wonderful alt-weekly (where I learned everything I know about writing for the Internet from this guy and this lady).

I know these programs: PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash (AS3), FinalCut Pro, ProTools.

And I can make fun little things with these technologies: PHP, HTML/CSS, Javascript (jQuery).
